LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Dec.7.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Kanye West, Green Day and Gwen Stefani were among the winners of VH1's Big In '05 Awards.

The event, which took place in Los Angeles over the weekend, honored significant artists and pop culture moments that occurred during 2005.

West received the most awards of the night, scooping up the Big Entertainer trophy and the Big Quote award for his now infamous remark during a Hurricane Katrina telethon that "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

Green Day walked away with the Big Music Artist award, and Gwen Stefani earned the Big Download honor for her hit single "Hollaback Girl." Other music winners included Lindsay Lohan for Big It Girl, Bo Bice for Big Reality Star, and Jessica Simpson, who won the Big Stylin' award.
