NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday Sep.15.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Toy maker Zizzle is getting ready to launch a new amimatronic DJ toy at the end of September.

The toy is called "iZ," and it looks like a futuristic alien that doubles as a dancing speaker for your iPod.

The three-legged iZ stands about 9 inches tall and is available in red, green, and blue. When connected to any music source with a standard headphone jack such as an iPod, Walkman, radio or CD player, iZ comes to life and plays your music. And if that's not enough, the toy also burps and makes other "rude, lifelike noises."

iZ will be revealed to the public on September 29th, at a party for kids held at the Toys "R" Us located in New York's Times Square. Rihanna and Lifehouse will provide entertainment, along with DJ AM.

The iZ toy will retail for around $39.99.
