LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday May.26.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Perry Farrell's throwing a Satellite Party, and he's invited some of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to join him.

The Lollapalooza founder and former frontman of Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros has a new band called Satellite Party. According to RollingStone.com, Farrell's new group is looking to release its eponymous debut album in the late summer.

Satellite Party's album will feature a number of guest appearances including Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and guitarist John Frusciante. Also getting in on the fun is Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, New Order bassist Peter Hook and Farrell's wife, Etty.

Listen for Satellite Party's first single "Dogstar" to be released in the summer.
